You should be able to take the exam. They even have foreign associates that take the test and practice

It a bare bones trading experience it doesn't support much in research. But it does let you buy sell equities without pay 8 dollars for each transaction.

I dont want to quit my current job and not be able to get my series 7 license.

Thanks
A stockbroker is a pretty much a sales job now, given the rise of discount brokers and automated markets it makes the job even scarcer. Also a stockbroker like in Wolf of Wall Street doesn't exist anymore.

I'm not trying to be super wolfy rich. I just want a job with better pay. I'm currently making 13 an hr and Merrill pays 20.20 in the South. I graduated with my bachelors and that was the only job that I could find with a higher pay rate.

My original questions was if anyone in here was a licensed broker because I wasnt sure if I could be one. Please if you know of a better paying job. Lmk it be happy to apply. I don't mind being a salesman as long as i get a decent hourly rate plus commissions. I know a car salesman can be wolfy rich if he has a good month but a stockbroker can be well off in a bad month. I'm not really a risk taker. I like to have everything calculated.

To answer your original question, if you have a company sponsor you should be able to be Series 7 licensed.
