Biometrics Address

Hi everyone,

Probably a dumb question, but what address does USCIS use to determine where they'll schedule the Biometrics appointment? On the application, is it mailing address, or present address?

I'm living away from home for the summer so I'm not exactly sure how that works. I'd prefer to have my Biometrics done where I'm living now, and the EAD be sent back home.
