Waiting on my renewal? IM SCARED

Hello Guys,
So my Work permit expired at the end of September. I submit my application last month, and received my acceptance letter. It’s been 3 weeks and I’m still waiting on the Biometrics appt.

With everything that is going on with the Supreme Court and the decision that was made today, it has made me very nervous.

I don’t know if I’m panicking, but how long does this time, This is my second renewal and I can’t remember how long this takes. I’m nervous and a little scared to be honest. Were on a limbo!!!

Did you receive a letter to make an online account yet? Because for Bio appointment, I was able to check it on the web first before getting the actual letter to my house. If you have an online access, log in and check if there is anything new there.

No I havent!! How do I get online access??

I received a letter with an online access code on it..it tells you to go to their website and create an account and put in the specific access code. I was able to make an account using that code and it shows the progress of my applications and important documents that I need to see. I think you can still create an account and track your progress but it won't show documents w/o the access code.
Some people here have received it, some didn't receive it', some got it late...(past their expiration which is 1 month) so..I don't know what's the deal with this actually.

Thanks a lot, I will check the mail as soon as I get home today, hopefully its there. I guess I know sometimes this takes longer, specially with everything thats going on. And I guess all of the current events are making me nervous. I just need to relax and be patient. It is what it is.

Second renewal here as well.
Already did my Bio-metrics, almost a month and a half ago.

Biometric app. came about 2-3 weeks after acceptance letter. Hang in there!

No word back yet after Bio though.

Bear in mind, the Supreme Court case has not bearing on our renewal -- at best an administrative delay maybe its remoter consequence, but only someone on the inside can answer that.

Incidentally. I sent my to the Chicago Lockbox, and live in GA. Not sure if your delay is regionally related (higher traffic process centers) or not.

If your Bio apt came in 3 weeks after the acceptance letter, then I should be getting mine soon. (fingers crossed)

My renewal application was routed to Nebraska so who knows.

But knowing that the Supreme Court case decision has no direct impact on the renewals makes me feel a sense of comfort.
