I'm new here. DACA approved. I want to know two things.. Is leaving the country (AP) a requirement to clear your name for potential resident/citizen status in the future? Also, I'd like to know your thoughts if any, as to what will become of us Dreamers this election if the candidate elected decides to remove/alter DACA? Thanks for reading.
If you entered without inspection then AP "clears" that up and makes you eligible to get your green card in the U.S without having to go to outside the U.S to process.
Donald Trump is currently campaigning to cancel all of the President's executive orders including DACA.
Hillary Clinton has campaigned since last year to expand the deferred action programs to include parents of Dreamers who were left out in the last executive actions. She also has said she would work with congress to pass a comprehensive immigration reform
