I feel it is a bit unfair that they are not able to process things on time. I mean, it is not like we are not paying for this.

It is so nerve wrecking, I have been waiting for over a month for my biometrics appointment. I have the job of my dreams and I really do not want to lose it.

If they really need more people to do this on a timely manner they should charge more and have more people work on this.

I agreed. Or at least they should have an expedited processing.

Or at least a better system of who you can contact when there is a legitimate problem with your renewal (rather than an agent reading line by line your case status on the USCIS website).

Same here 48 day no biometrics, they should definitely be more effective with their processing times. -___-

I think the FBI is so busy looking into Hillary Clinton's emails that there is no time to look into our deferred action background checks.

I am still waiting as well. I do not know if I should be relieved that I am not alone or concerned that it is so many of us.

One a side note, I filed within 118 days of expiration. Partly my stupidity for not realizing my first renewal had been pushed forward by more than a month.

So I would not quality for a temporary extension.

Finally got my biometrics appointment after nearly 80 days.

A few things I learned:

1) Reps are useless. Level one and level two reps cannot do anything other than out on service requests.
2) the website is a pos. Some users can check their vase status, others can't, reps are useless. Stick with the regular case tracker.
3) prepare for the worst. Renewals are outside of our control but you can prepare for job loss and getting other documents ready.

Here is my timeline, it's been frustrating to say the least.

This is my second renewal.

My DACA renewal is at the Nebraska Service Center and the receipt number starts with an IOE.

May 19, 2016 -- renewal received by USCIS.

June 16, 2016 -- called USCIS since no biometrics appointment, but was told wait at least 30 days before making an inquiry.

June 20, 2016 -- Submitted a case inquiry online via the USCIS website: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-Request/Intro.do

June 23, 2016 -- Received a response from the June 20, 2016 inquiry that I need to create an account at https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov Also stated in the response that I will need an access code to link my pending cases. I never received an access code so I called USCIS on June 24, 2016 and was told to submit an inquiry to get the access code.

June 24, 2016 -- Submitted an inquiry at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/contactus to obtain the access code.

June 28, 2016 -- Received a call from USCIS tech help desk and provided me with an access code to create my account, but no biometric online letter when I login.

June 25, 2016 -- submitted an Ombudsman request online via https://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance filling out (Form DHS-7001), but received a response from Ombudsman on July 1, 2016 that they will close my request since my case has not been pending for 105 days.

June 30, 2016 -- Submitted a Congressional inquiry and received a response today July 6, 2016 that to wait at least 60 days from today and if I don't get anything by them, then to contact my representative again.

Sigh. Still nothing in the mail regarding my biometrics and online status just says that my case was received.

Best of luck to all my fellow Dreamers. I hope and pray for a prompt and favorable outcome for all of our cases.

BTW my DACA/EAD expires in early November.
