Alright, finished my first round of calling.

Any one else notice something odd when calling Sen. Cornyn? I got the normal please leave a message speach, a weird click (no beep) then it started ringing again before an operator recoding told me my call didn't go through.

Sen. Hutchison's answering message system told me they couldn't accept anymore messages, so. . . Good work folks! Yay!

Sen. Inhofe just rang and rang and rang and rang and rang and rang. . . not sure what's up with that.

I'll run through them all again in a couple hours. Right now I have housework to tackle.

Have you been calling the local office or the one in Washington? I called the Washington office and I don't even get a "leave a message after the bee," it just automatically hangs up.

Also I was not able to get a voicemail from this senator. Did anyone else have a problem leaving him a message?

Can we get a rating scale going again like there was before ($$$$ and so on) so that I know who I'm supposed to bother the most?

I'm just calling the numbers as their listed in this post, and others. Judging by the same area codes, I'm guessing that means I'm calling the Washington offices?

*IMPORTANT*

We need to call today - filling up voicemails on the weekend is not enough!

This time was specially arduous but afterwards the sensation was great. I just feel very light and bluffy like a cloud. Well, Senators are receving many calls so keep pounding, and pounding and pounding. I think some are making tallies. One staff person asked me for my address and I ask her why. She told me that they were receiving many calls in favor of the Dream Act. In fact, assistants say they are receiving many calls about the Dream Act. Senator Cornyn's assistant was king of shocked. He kind of assumed that I was going to be against it. Thus, we need to keep calling and convince them that we are in support of the Dream Act. Remember the senator's state name.
