Clinton said she would create “a simple, straight-forward system where people with sympathetic cases or who can show a history of service to their communities can make their case and be eligible for deferred action,” similar to the one that allows victims of labor abuses to stay in the country. She also promised a bill within the first 100 days of her presidency that would address the issue comprehensively, including a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants.

If she says relief is still possible despite Supreme Court ruling why Obama is not doing it now.
He owes immigrant community something for inflicting so much pain and deporting 3 million people.

Obama deported people that were crossing the border and were caught right there. Those numbers you hear about Obama deportees, are just numbers of people detained and deported at the border. He did not deport families that were here in the USA already.

Please get your facts straight.

Well indeed your concern is legitimate. No question Obama has deported countless of immigrants. But at the same time really the man can only do so much when his Congress doesn't want to pass any bill. His deportations are the real cost of this program that we have called DACA and it has worked miracles. Democrats are known to use immigration as their top issue but I truly do hope the Hillary administration pushes for a bill finally!

She doesn't say how different will it be from DACA/DAPA expansion.

2Face you are wrong on this. Obama did not deport families already here, all those numbers come from people detained at the border and sent back, which technically are not considered deportees. Obama does not owe us anything.

We owe him everything for having the balls of signing DACA.

I was under the impression that many people were separated from their families. Yes, maybe those are all people who were under already deportation orders? I believe those are the people that ICE targets every now and then. But yeah, no doubt Obama's executive action in 2012 really changed our lives. But at the same time, I don't agree with people saying we owe Democrats our lives and we should bow down and serve them. I understand they provided us with EADs and in return we are being good citizens, working, paying taxes, contributing to the economy etc. This idea that none of us are allowed to exercise our freedom of discussing different political ideas is crazy and people claiming we owe our lives to Democrats are radical minded. And don't forget Immigration is an issue that is very important for Democrats. They are known to kick the can down the road so that the issue can be used every election. This is the prime reason that Hillary has picked Tim Kaine. That dude is FLUENT in Spanish. What a bold move!

I advise you to contact some immigration organizations defending immigrants from deportations like UnitedWeDream and others to learn about horrific tragedies of separated families living here for decade or more. For most of the ICE agents "low priority" in deportation is just a theory.

I advice you to contact president Obama and ask him yourself.

He even admit it to Univision they made up the numbers.
