Anyone on this forum still employed with an expired EAD? My EAD expires in 3 weeks but my HR team hasn't contacted me about this and I'm not planning to mention anything to them. I personally know of one dreamer who's EAD expired and she was able to continue working since Human Resources never approached her. She received her new EAD a few weeks later.

When did she apply for renewal?

This is true.

The case that is right after mine already got approved in June even though we had the same timeline. That person's application was also received 4/22/16. Mine was even received a couple of days before that and I'm still waiting.

take a look

Yes, I have visited that site before and I agree, it is ridiculous. Their information is so contradicting. They were supposed to be processing Feb 4 as of May 31 (site updated July 14). It is now July 26 and they are now saying they are processing January 28? I don't think they have any idea of what is going on.

How often do they update the timelines?

Have you brought up these concerns to them when you call? I wonder what they would say.

I didn't and I don't think it would matter. As someone said a few minutes ago, they are clearly just reading from a script.

Hope we get our renewals soon. Good luck to all!

No...I even got the biometrics appointment 2 days after the receipt date and completed in in May. To this day my case is still pending. I called the USCIS to request to expedite my case, but I'm not sure if my financial grounds would be enough. The lady I also spoke to said that the 90 day timeline for EAD does not start until AFTER the approval.

I would actually like to see renewal applicants post IF they actually are receiving information that it is being processed at the Nebraska Service Center....it might not!
I just got off the phone with a Tier 2 rep, he told me Nebraska Service Center is handling my case and he sent a request for information. I should hear back from them before August 10.

USCIS received my renewal on April, 150 days exactly before my EAD expires. I completed biometrics on 4/29. I'm still confident that it'll get renewed before it expires, but it's really going be close.

If not, well, there's still hope:
