Lucky for me I'm in Vegas, and was able to get an infopass within two weeks. Mine is schedule on August 3rd.

This is my current mental war right now that goes on all day, unfortunately. I've worked so hard to have a decent life by myself, and now I'm torn on whether to stop working or continue working. I haven't been asked about my EAD, but I'm scared USCIS runs some sort of check where they see if my SSN was utilized (payroll) while my EAD was expired.

But otherwise, I"ve been with the company for many years and not once was I asked for anything, even though it's current as of now.

I also submitted an ombudsman request and emailed my representative. I will lose my job August 18 so I want to make sure I go out knowing I tried everything.

Mine runs out 8/17/16.

I had my infopass meeting today (7/29/16).

Renewal filed: 3/26/16
Biometrics: 4/15/16

The lady at the counter told me that my renewal had gone through and that 'it was in the mail'.

My online status hasn't changed since the biometrics.

Haven't received anything in the mail yet.

Wow congrats, I think you're the second person here who is also "approved and in the mail/sent to production" with no update online. Makes me feel hopeful that they're really trying to meet the expiration dates.

What does your status online sa if you don't mind me asking. I've seen cases where it says "card sent" so I'm wondering why yours wouldn't be updated tho.

Ok guys, slightly freaking out...please help...

June 19 I sent my application in. I received a receipt notice few days later but until now I haven't received biometrics schedule and my receipt number is IOE##### , I didn't e-file though...please help. I tried calling USCIS and when the automated machine asks for receipt, I punch in the receipt number without the IOE but it's saying that my receipt number is incorrect.

No one e-filed did you get a letter with an access code to setup a profile?

Yes, no one e-filed. Also, you have to enter the case number WITH the IOE, not just the numbers. Whenever I call in, I usually choose the option that says "I lost my receipt" so that I am transferred to an agent instead. Either way you'll get the same general info, but talking to an agent allows you to ask questions. Most of them don't know all that much, but some of them can give small bits of info here and there. E.g- The last one I spoke to told me that they'd been getting A LOT of calls from DACA applicants and that there is a backlog of our cases in particular.
