Hello fellow dreamows. As we all know, this time around, the renewals seem to be extremely slow. I remember back in end of june when I called the uscis hotline, they told me to sit tight because they were still working on cases filed in december. Mine was sent in April. I didn't receive my biometrics letter till 3 weeks ago. Last time, I remember we all out our bios within a month or 2 after applying. This time it took like 4 months. Last time the "wait period" came after the bios... I feel like this time around, its BEFORE.
Okay let me explain... last time i got my bio letter quick.. but got an appointment dated 3 weeks from then. This time I got it late but my appointment was for literally a week and a half later. So, for those of you who remember me, I used to say that I think they are renewing people based upon our ead expiration dates. And I still believe so. That and also the date you got your biometrics done might have something to do with it, so, yes, I think Walk-in's do help alot. But that's a different story.
So, the purpose of this post... for those of us who have gotten renewal already.. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! For those who are still waiting.. sit tight and good luck.
