chessmaster05, you and I are in the same boat. My expiration date and last day of work is tomorrow.

This entire ordeal ranks high on my short list of horrible experiences. I'm in total awe of the lack of concern and flippant attitude towards our situation. Their careless handling of this slip up will cost me in more ways than just losing my job, and what sucks is that we have no idea how much longer it will take for them to get their act together.

Let my expiration joy ride begin.

Ive had the most interesting experience with DACA.

When I first applied in 2012, I was approved in about 35 days (awesome, right!?). They send me the permit and it gets lost in the mail. They make me jump through hoops to get a replacement. I send the application for a replacement plus another check for $465 and they take about 8 MONTHS for the replacement card.

Then first renewal time comes and they approve me about a month before the expiration, pretty cool hassle free.

Now for my seccond renewal, once again they have dropped the ball. My permit and everything expires tomorrow. This whole thing has been draining but here we are.

Card in production since August 10, 2016, no card yet and according to ellis back into being reviewed. Hoping it didn't get lost in mail like previous renewal.

It's hard to complain when we had nothing before, but in terms of logic, efficiency, and not to mention that our lives are at the mercy at USCIS, this has been a disaster for ourselves and fellow dreamers.

Here's to hoping the next renewal isn't as embarrassing for them.

Yeah, I need to seriously need to start thinking of a way to adjust my status. These two past two renewals have been very stressing for me.

I feel clueless :/ Never thought this would happen.

Renewal Received: 4/6/2016
Biometrics app: 4/27/2016
Approval: Still Pending
Card Expiration: 8/17/2016 Tomorrow

Job hasn't said anything, and I really - really - hope they won't. I called USCIS today the 16th and like many of you, they said there is nothing they can do because they are still working on cases received in Feb 18th, so it's under "procedural" time. I check the new ELIS an all my scanned applications and envelope are there, no criminal records whatsoever, no changes really, so pretty much is under their own discretion, and they are like "oh well, I am sorry"

8 MONTHS for the replacement card, though????? I'm so sorry that your experience has been a negative one for 2 out of 3 times you've applied. Here's to being optimistic about a last minute renewal tomorrow.

What service center did you sent your application to?

Will you guys get hired back?

My worst fear is that my job will let me go without the opportunity for rehire. I work for one of the large companies and will be losing my 84+ salary if I do not get renewed.

I am not sure what will happen.
