The response I received from the immigration officer trying to expedite my request.. Effing ridiculous! Doesn't matter that my expired today and it was my last day of work.. You're just not important enough basically. NO THIS INFORMATION IS NOT HELPFUL TO ME!

Well, if they did their jobs correctly then we wouldn't be asking for cases to be expedited would we?

This is not funny but did they really tell you to check your case status in the future???? Lmao that's insane. Sorry about your experience, we have the same timeline basically and you followed their guideline , I don't know what they will tell me... Hang in there I have a feeling most people will be approve a day or two after their expiration date and I hope to be in that bash.

How exactly do you email NILC? And what exactly should I put in my email?

I already spoke with a representative who submitted a request to have my case looked at and receive a response since I submitted my application since February 29 did my biometrics and still haven't recieved a response. But I would like to email NILC as well to see what else can be done since I'm almost reaching 6 mths since I submitted my renewal.

Hey, the email is [email protected], and just mention the DACA renewal delay and give your reciept #'s and expiration date. Someone should get back to you soon.

Just tell them that you are requesting their help because your case has been pending for nearly six months. Give them as much info as you can (your case number, date your application was received, and when you did your biometrics). Once you are assigned to one of their lawyer, he/she will ask more questions. Here's the email: [email protected]

Here is what I got from USCIS after contacting them.

Thank you for your inquiry dated August 16, 2016, requesting information about your Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) package.
Our records indicate that we received your DACA package on May 31, 2016.
Requests submitted during this timeframe may have taken longer than expected. You should receive further communication on your case within the next few weeks. USCIS is dedicated to restoring normal processing times as quickly as possible.
If you have other questions, you may contact USCIS by filling out the web form at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/contactus.
If you move to a new address, please remember to update your address to ensure that your card is mailed to your current address. You may update your address using our online tool at http://www.uscis.gov/addresschange.

No it shouldn't the first time took way too long but it had to do with my birth certificate and they took forever to send an rfe. My birth certificate was checked male instead of female. I find it so ridiculous how this time they actually noticed that mistake but the other time I was going to fix my status under my Dad they didn't even notice.


So no I highly doubt it has to do with that.

I finally got a call back from from Tier 2, not really anything special at this point. I've had 3 back to back SR's to see about my bio appt delays, and my last response was responded to friday, but they never sent an email for it. They apparently mailed it........... Thank you and welcome back to 1995 where we wait for US Mail.
The gist of my request was to figure out why and when they would issue an appointment, after '15 days' and '15 more day' stupid responses.
Well the response noted that my case had not come up, and they would issue bios when my case did come up, so basically im -122 days in the process because they haven't done squat with it. I asked for an ETA, they said they are working with 6 months for renewals, script BS. Like others I challenged this because they prohibited early filing, 150 day max., and he was basically caught, and said 'You're right' but this is what the Service Center is telling us. I said 'So USCIS knew that I would lose my job because they could not process in time? And I have no other option?' he replied 'I am sorry for the inconvenience. I asked for a real ETA he said he estimated my approval by Oct 20th....................... Thanks...

My last question was the best, I asked can you confirm if my app was caught up in the ELIS data/server corruption for Feb/May applications, and he said 'Yes', so I asked for an expedited review, and he said he couldn't because my case had to wait in line..... I am seriously at a lost.
They admit to their issues, and offer ZERO relief.

So looks like zeo was right and it is corrupted

If they pull that 15 day shit on me on my SR, I don't give a flying fuck if the person on the call is not responsible I'm not getting off that line until I get to complain to every fucking supervisor in that down syndrome addled service center.
