I am currently getting ready to submit form I-130 through my mother who is a US Citizen (I am 26 years old, unmarried).

I am wondering if this new provisional waiver process will impact my case? is anyone aware of how this will change processing for people like me?

Yes it will affect your case. You will still have to wait out the 6+ years that I-130 for an adult child takes. But when priority date becomes current you'll be able to file the waiver and if it is approved - you'll be able to travel to a US consulate without fear of a 10 year re-entry ban and pick up your immigrant visa.

Girlgirl19, brace yourself for the long wait. My advice is to quickly submit the I-130 and then forget about it for a good number of years. I personally waited 7 years! Good luck! and hopefully with the new provisional waiver form the process will be more smooth
