Sorry guys posting again...

I got approved yesterday August 24, 2016. Application recieved February 29, 2016. EAD expired June 26, 2016 .

Anyone have an idea how long after the DACA approval do they approve the EAD?

From reading the comments, it seems like from getting EAD approved to getting the actual card is about 14 days/2 weeks

May be less, I got approved on 8/15 and got the card on 8/24 - exactly 8 business days.

Looking at case status, there are a ton of April 4 applications that are still pending. I am hoping that these are the next batch to be worked on.

"Hello,

It has been 80 days now since I received the initial receipt notices, and I still do not have my biometrics appointment scheduled yet.

Please process my case outside ELIS and schedule a biometrics appointment for me manually. USCIS' internal ELIS issues have delayed my application to the point that I have not been scheduled for biometrics after 2.5 months. My EAD expires on 10/09/2016, and I am getting concerned that it will not renew on time even though I submitted the renewal within the recommended time frame. Everyone knows this is an internal USCIS issue and not the applicants. Please process my case through CLAIMS 3, SNAP/NASS(manual), ELIS is not working for me.

Thank you - I will really appreciate it if my biometrics appointment can be scheduled as soon as possible."
I'll send a request tomorrow with similar wording. 70 days and no bios here.

But why did you have to do another bio appt?
Sorry for the late reply.

They sent me a notice saying that FBI couldn't verify my fingerprints and sent me another biometrics appointment for 5/25, but I walked in on 5/17.

It was funny because the agent who was taking my fingerprints told me that it looks like I have something inside my fingers so the system can't pick up my prints ( I don't). Happened the second time as well. But I didn't receive a third letter so I assume either there is either a delay in background checks that other people have been facing or they haven't got to my case yet...

At this point, I'm sure USCIS will find 10 different answers as to why my case has been delayed.

Just hoping for the best. Beyond cynical at this point. But at the same time still have hope. It's a weird feeling.

How's your case going?

If you are approved lets say 1 day before your EAD expires...is it a good tactic to just not tell HR anything? (This is concerning HR that hasn't really brought up anything)

I ask this because if you are approved 1 day before expiration, I would figure that all computer systems would be updated and you can just give them a copy of your new physical EAD later when you receive it.

Cheers to February submissions getting renewed at last. I'm a 8/17er, and I can't even imagine what it must have been like going into months without EAD...

And again, just would like to voice that USCIS should definitely pull its head out of its ass... just so that it can go fuck itself.

It stings extra because "Your application is ludicrously delayed because of our incompetence? Tough titties, foreigner." attitude of USCIS is precisely what made me an illegal immigrant in the first place.
