What do you say when asked "Are you registered to vote?"

How do you respond?

I'm not (yet) a citizen. I've said this to my friends, coworkers, and those who ask me

That ends the conversation most of the time. Some are actually surprised when I say that. But nobody ever asked me if I were on a visa or have a green card

Keep it simple, I cant vote. And then move on.

"Non Citizen, can't."

I just say Im already registered, and they leave me alone. Prevents further questions.

Bad idea, that can constitute a false claim of citizenship (ie. permanent and unwaivable inadmissibility).

Say "no", say nothing, walk past them, tell them to fuck off, but don't say yes.

"I'm a felon" usually shuts them up.

Recently I told one when asked if I was aware and wanted to register for early voting I said
Them: "Do you want to know locations for early voting"?
Me:"No" *continues walking not paying attention to them *
Them: "*something something voting*"
Me: "Don't care" *not skip a beat, keeps walking. *
