It does, after a few days your case status will be updated to card in production. Consider yourself the luckiest person in this forum. Please do something out of your renewal. Aim for improving your career, get good grades in school and aim high. Many people have not been so lucky this time around , many have lost their jobs. Do not take it for granted

wow that really sucks that they told you that - From my visit with her, she was able to see who was my assigned case officer and when the case was assigned to him. So she told me "I see that he has had the case for a while, so let me send him an email to get the case pushed". So not sure if maybe she was a different tier officer and that's why she was able to help me.

The one thing I did forgot to ask when I was with her, was if my background check had been processed, since I had read around here that some of the background checks were taking longer, but I did call that same week to a tier 2 and they were able to confirm that mine had been completed. and 4 days later I got the call from the infopass officer telling me that I was approved.

It does seem like it's a luck game, and see how the officers are feeling that day

I'm really happy for all the new approvals but what can we do for them to even look at applications for March and April?

I submitted my application late May and i got the receipt June 6. Still waiting for my biometrics Exp.10/17/16

Has anyone brought this up to the officers they talk to? That people are getting approved within 24 hours of their bios? I'm just wondering what their response would be as to freezing/holding earlier apps and approving later apps in what seems like seconds. If they want us to re-send an app, just say it.

Hi all, I was able to do my walk-in bio on Friday. Is there usually an update on ELIS when you do your bio? Something like you did your bio on this date and such? Seems like there are a lot of inconsistency in updates on ELIS..

Mine changed to same thing right next day after I completed biometrics. However I think mine could be in error since it was too quick and on the regular uscis.gov website it still shows "Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Emailed". Nothing about approval.
i did bios on 9/2 as scheduled. Checked elis on morning of 9/3 and it was showing approved.
