Yeah, thankfully. I am still relatively safe, mine expires on the 28th of this month.

Everyone's EAD is expiring and its taking way longer than usual! So scary!

Here is my timeline so far:

APPLICATION SENT: 08/23/16
SERVICE CENTER: IOE ? :O
BIOMETRICS: early walk-in on 09/02/12
APPROVAL: TBA

Usually takes about 1-1.5 months for my renewal so I wait a little later to file. The time lines I am seeing now it is really scary!

I was so excited because right after I sent my renewal forms I got a biometrics appointment letter just a week later. So quick, then 3 days later I walked in and I was feeling great until I browsed this timeline.

When do you expire?

Based on the speed at which new renewals are getting processed at there is a chance you could be okay depending on when you expired. Make sure you stay up to date with the DACA news. I almost made a horrible mistake. I never got the notice to apply within 150 because of delays, or I got it but never read it or paid attention, and bam when I renewed I had in mind my old expiration date. Not only did I apply within 119 days which was already outside the 120-150 days recommended but I lost a month based on my old expiration date.

I got approved already and I am just waiting on my EAD to arrive in the mail I hope.

Well, ILRC is going to elevate our case for the second time.

I heard back from my unhelpful Congress' office that it's in pending background check, just like my service request indicated 2 weeks ago.
Rep was supposed to get back to me at the end of last month but USCIS had issues: "have had storms and the system was down". They confirmed there is nothing to be done on my end and that there have been a ton of lost jobs due to the backup at USCIS.

Fortunately my boyfriends great new job hasn't said anything about his expiration coming tomorrow. I don't think the lady in HR even noticed it or anything, considering he just started with this company a month ago, it was a rather glaring date. Hopefully they continue to not notice and if they do it isn't until we finally get approved.

USCIS has produced your Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) and mailed it to the address you provided.

I was wondering, can I just tell HR to put me back on payroll if I just have the approval confirmation on ELIS?

It says valid time 9/8/2016 to 9/7/2018 on my DACA approval letter, but I do not see any EAD approval letter even though it says that was approved also.

I don't want to let HR put me back on payroll and then 2 weeks later get my EAD card with it showing the starting date around 9/22/2016...

I will let you know if my EAD differs from my card when I get it. I think it would be a safe bet if a couple of us can confirm the dates to you. Then you can make a more informed decision.

Here is a question for y'all... So as you know I got approved on sept 8th for DACA... Well on August 26th I submitted my AOS package (marriage Usc).. The question is will I have to do another set of biometrics?
