2nd Renewal returned, what did I do wrong?

Hey guys 3 weeks ago I got my renewal application packet returned to me with the chance to fix the mistake and send it back. This is the letter I got http://m.imgur.com/HSNhs9O. Til this day, I have no idea why. I quadruple checked everything before sending it and this is my 3rd go around with filling these same forms out.

I only signed page 5 part 2a on the I-821d form. On form I-765, I also signed once where it says "Applicant's Signature". Along with the forms, I included 2 passport photos, $465 money order, 2 previous approval notices(2012, 2014), and a copy of my current EAD card(front and back). Everything was returned back to me. I went ahead and signed where it says "Prepaper's Signature" on both forms assuming that is where they wanted me to sign and sent it back. It has been 3 weeks since then I haven't received anything from USCIS. Did I somehow mistakenly got rejected? Did my packet somehow get lost? I was really expecting at least a receipt notice saying my case has been transferred to a service center.

Would it hurt to send ANOTHER application besides another $465? I just want them to acknowledge that they have my application? I see most people are waiting for biometrics appointment but I am here still waiting for a receipt notice. It's just one of the worst feelings in the world. I still have my hopes up as next week marks week 4.

I finally was able to get in touch with a level 2 officer through the USCIS hotline. The officer just asked me for the receipt # I got on the rejection notice and said that it isn't even in the system yet. Was just told to wait 30 days from when my application was delivered. Well heres to waiting!

This is why I pay a lawyer to do my DACA. No issues, smooth sailing.

If i can remember theres another place to sign on i821, let a day go by and look again with fresh eyes or someone else. I did all my renewals WITHOUT a lawyer and was smooth sailing so person above can have a cookie for wasting money on a lawyer to fill out forms lol

It's mind boggling how its not in the database. The last thing they have for me in their system was my 2014 renewal approval. How do you print the notice out with a receipt number and then for it to not be in the system yet?

That's great. You seem to have a good competent lawyer. But not all of them are like that. Many I assume have their staff do the work and in the mix even get a lot of applications delayed. Also, I just think they charge way too much for that application. It's very easy to fill out. But not saying anything to you. You should do whatever you are comfortable with and keep that relationship up with that lawyer so he/she knows you well personally. They could help you out greatly in the future and give personal attention!

I would never get a lawyer for DACA. Most of them are idiots. When it comes to DACA I think it's safe to say most of us here are experts about filing for DACA than the best lawyers around.

weird? i didn't sign under the preparer section on my last renewal i only had 1 signature for i821d
