Hello, I did my bio 7/12 and my card is expired 28 Sep, I called today to see what I can do. They told me my application is in the benefit center and they don't know the processing status, they just told me if I did my bio then just be patient. They also told me I can go try to make an appointment with USCIS and acquire an extension on my EAD, but I would imagine it is very hard to make an appointment with USCIS.. I tried search the available slot and no luck

Anyone has such experience on EAD extension? What else can I do?

If you got that granted, you'd be the first I've heard of. I've asked on the phone and at infopass appointments and been told that they don't do that for DACA, despite the website saying otherwise.

What do you guys tell them to get them to "elevate" the case? I've had no luck whatsoever.

Got an infopass appointment an hour away tomorrow, I hope something useful comes out of it...

Hey, USCIS schedules 14 days out. You have to wake up around 3 am to pick appointments. I was told to check around 8 am in the morning but I stay up really late and checked around 3 am and all the appointment slots are there. By the time it's 10 am usually all the appointment times are gone.

My first post on this forum, but I thought it worth saving you some time. I had appointment today and it was completely pointless. My officer insisted there was nothing she could tell me that I didn't already know (received a response from an inquiry regarding the additional review message most people have received). To her credit, the officer I spoke with attempted to process an expedite request, but the NSC turned it down saying they are not expediting 821-D apps or renewals. I'm a school teacher and in 6 days my 120 students are going to be teacherless.

Yea that's what I thought it would be like, just like talking to tier 1 rep over the phone telling us things we already know. Not sure if I want to go or not now if it's just going to be a waste of time. Going to search this thread to see if anyone had any success with an infopass.
