Hey sorry for not posting my infopass experience yesterday, I got really busy. Here is how it went down:

Got called up to speak with a really professional and nice officer. I told him I have been waiting longer than I should be for my DACA renewal and if he could check what is the status on it. I showed him my receipt notice from back in May that USCIS received it as well as the biometrics notice and the stamp showing that I completed it on 8/4. He tried looking up the status through his system by typing in the number and scanning the bar code at the bottom, neither worked. He asked me if I had any other type of benefit (TPS, etc.) I told him no but I do have a U Visa application processing currently. According to him he believes the U Visa application doesn’t allow him to check any in detail case status from his system except for the basic “Case Status” information you can see on USCIS.com. I accepted that response which made perfect sense.

He then tried to create a service request but the computer would not let him since I had a service request done a few days ago and for him to create another one a certain number of days have to pass by for him to submit one from his end. I’m also not even sure if an infopass officer creating a service request would be the same priority/level as a tier 1 officer on the phone submitting one, if so then an infopass service request would be pretty much useless.

Although nothing came out of it I’m glad I had an infopass officer who was helpful and willing to try everything he could to help me out. Others might definitely have better luck with an infopass than I did, you have nothing to lose (except for gas + time) and you can also say you have tried just about everything possible. Unfortunately the only thing I can do at this point is wait…

Have you called them? I am at 105 days today too, and I will be calling shortly and try to speak to a tier 2 person

I'm at 105 days today as well. I just emailed the Nebraska service center and hope something good comes out of it.
