I'll soon be on my journey again with the renewal process.. so nervous.

Noticed my post on the excel spreadsheet got deleted. I haven't updated it because I am still currently waiting. Feel free to add me once again if you would like me to update it when I finally get approved (it's on the backup).

So I was approved on Sept 8, and ended up receiving my card 12 days after on the 20th. My case was received April 6th, did my bios on April 27th, waited 152 days for a response. Expired on 8/17, worked without an EAD for like 21 Days. Job hasn't brought it up, so I'm not going to lol. I pretty much called uscis for like 6 times always getting the same response, I was never able to talk to a tier 2. I did a service request which told pretty much to wait lol, finally I contact NILC which helped me to elevate my case through a small phone interview. Their rep contacted me again to check on the status, and offered me to elevate my case again, but by then I was approved already. Very thankful for their service and commitment, so I would hit them up if I were you. Lessons I learned, apply six months before no matter what, be patient (which is hard I know)and find a way to adjust status someway, somehow :/ Hopefully DACA persists after Nov elections. Until then...

I expire on Thursday and still haven't gotten a decision on my case. I finally got a call back from a tier
2 officer and all she said was that they were still doing a background check, my biometrics were taken in may and my record is clean. This is so frustrating. Before I could even make any more questions she said "thanks for calling uscis, have a good day" and hung up. What kind of service is that. I'm so annoyed at all of this.

Finally approved!!! Case was at the Nebraska Service center
Receipt Day: 5/3/16
Bio: 6/30/16
EAD Expired: 9/18/16
Sent a request to both NILC and ILRC
Case was elevated on 9/19/16
I821d approved on 9/25/16
Still waiting to get the EAD approval notice but im hoping that comes today. So RELIEVED!!!
