Delayed EAD notifications/card 2016 - Page 53

Still have the "approved" status message on both cases after 3 days. I'm starting to fear my card won't even go into production..

Mine took about 3 days for then to change to card in production

Its been ten days and its still in production

So I have a week before my job terminates me. I was hopeful when I got approved because I had just the right time frame for my EAD to arrive if there were no delays with the production.

I always knew that I would get it eventually but am pretty bitter that it won't arrive on time. I feel like I wasted the last 3 months stressing like crazy because at the end this is all out of our control. I have no idea if the SR request, multiple calls, info pass appointments had anything to do with my approval but I should have just let things be.

Realistically, for me to get my card the status would have to change today but its been fun

Did anyone who submitted to thier congress representative or senator get a SR shown on case tracker? I see a SR for filing question on my case tracker but i never submitted that, so i assume thats from my senator

"On September 30, 2016, we sent a response to your Filing Question, referral number WKD*******NSC"

I didnt get the response from the senator yet.

This has probably been already answered so apologize in advance but has anyone checked to see if USCIS can print the EADs at a local field office?

FYI the way my congressional office explained it, they call through a channel reserved for them, pretty much 'just a better customer service' than the reps we talk to. So there's nothing radical they can do except maybe get slightly faster in turn around time.

Now, there IS a congressional 'unit' separate from the main call intake call center at service centers apparently. Also, the congressional offices are mere intermediaries, as in they can't really do much to help you directly but they can reach out to someone who can, whether a USCIS field officer or another liaison who does have a direct line of communication to a case reviewer/supervisor, etc.

You have to get to that point, where you're relaying update requests to the congressional office > [insert whoever does have the direct line of comm to service center > they provide actual updates and possibly prioritization based on your case.

I don't think they'll ever admit to having expediting cases, mainly because everyone would ask for it, but know that they do make exceptions and ask hardship letter if they deem necessary.

yeah!!! my card is finally being produced. my congressman's office called to notify that they spoke to USCIS and I should have my card in 5-10 days let's see how long it takes.

Mine has been in production since Sept 11

they just said card is being produced that's why I'm like let's see how long it actually takes to get to me

I also asked my Congress man to call on my behalf and they told him the card was produced and mail out today I got the tracking number. The sr1 had told me the card hadn't been sent to production yet earlier today.
