Hey guys so I just got off the phone with a tier 2 officer (the most helpful one I've gotten ) the last time they checked my case was in august! Pretty much what he said was if your case was assigned to an officer and that officer went on vacation then you're screwed because your case won't get reassigned unless it's a 45 day abscence. And to everyone working with an expire permit he said that if uscis can't track your job you're fine but if they can't track it it might jeopardize your adjustment of status when u decide to adjust. So frustrating I expired on last Thursday and can't afford to stop working

Yes. I talked to a tier 2 officer today and he told me that it can take up to 6 months now so I would recommend u do it within that timeframe so you're not stuck in the shitty situation the rest of us are in

Hi srafaela,

I see your case took over 200 days. In your case did you have advanced parole or late application or anything special that may have cause a longer review? I'm nearing 200 days myself and I'm trying to make sense of this. Mine is a simple renewal.

Thanks!

T2 officers work today? Thought it was only M-F, I can't believe how hard it is to get answers from a USCIS officer and the way they treat us

Received : June 9th 2016
Biometric : 115+ days not yet scheduled
1st Service request: July 13th
2nd Service request: Sept 13th
3rd Service Request Sept 30th
Emailed NSC/NILC: Sept 26th
InfoPass: Sept 28th
NILC: Sept 29th contacted me back that they will flag my case after answering some questions about my case.

EAD expired : September 25th 2016.

I told HR about my expiration a day before it expired. They didn't really seems to care but told me to work as usual. However they needed some document about it being delayed which I told them. I was able to get a delayed notice when I went to my infopass appointment. I had my i765 and the delayed notice stapled and gave it to HR today. I took my time giving them because the vibe of being in the HR department gave me the chills of my current situation.

I've been working since Sept 25. They haven't told me any bad news yet. I just hope that they don't contact me or put me on leave of absence. *knock on wood*

And also, the infopass office told me they were working on mid April cases which was in the delayed notice filled with many check boxes of other options. That there was nothing wrong with my case..but my sister sent her application a week after mine and already got approved and card in hand that took her around 95 days to complete.
Same here 120+days and waiting for bios....

Finally got approved! I received a text message update saying to check my case status and once I checked it says my card went into production yesterday. My timeline:

USCIS received case: 6/6/2016
Biometrics Scheduled 9/16/2016 (walk in bios completed 9/1)
Expired: 9/25/2016
Approved most likely yesterday.

I'll add my information to the excel sheet.

Congratulations! Please update the spread sheet.

Based on my conversation with the T2 Representative yesterday, I think everyone who has expired or is close to expiration needs to call and ask three questions and press until you get the answer.

1. Has my case been assigned to an officer?
2. Did I clear my FBI Back ground check?
3. Is there an RFE associated with either petition?

While I hated to hear that my case hasn't been assigned, I was actually glad to hear that there was not an RFE or other issues with my case as far as he could see. We are our best advocates guys! If you have not asked these questions, call on Monday and ask.
