USCIS screwed up and had problems because they are using a new system that turned out to be garbage.


Causing thousands if not hundreds of thousands of delays. People who submitted renewals between Feb 14 and around June 1st were affected, Not everyone but a lot. Going back through the post in this and the renewals thread you will see that for some people it took 200+ days to get their renewal even though the submitted within the recommended window.

So do not freak out just yet. Bios will come.

In the meantime do what I suggested if it makes you feel better, it cannot hurt. I do not know if it will have an effect. Like I said you are still early.

Not to discourage you, but you are very early in the process. I my self did not receive a biometrics appointment text until day 93.

Then I walked in as soon as I was able to print it out.

I was approved next day. This time around many people got bios much later.

Some of us were lucky and got approved shortly after getting them done.



I would not be too worried about it. It seems much of the issues that went on through many months are starting to get under control.

I got approved on Sept 1st, I got the card in the mail on Sat, Sept 10. I expire on Sept 28th.


I have a feeling you will get your card either on Tuesday or Wednesday.
