That sounds pretty positive that you're approved! Congrats! Glad things are moving even if it's moving at a very slow pace.

I got approved on the 23rd of September and my EAD began to be in production on the 25th. I spoke to a Tier 1 officer just now and they said it could very well take 30-60 days for the EAD card to come in. I feel defeated. Want this to be over

I am a mess, and I have barely been at this job that I liked for 4 months. I am just going to disappear from the job on that date. I told my supervisor about the situation, and he was supportive. However he was surprised about what it's like to be a DACA worker. I don't know if people will find out at work.
I knew something was wrong with this renewal. Ever since I started my job I had been saving money.
Today is day 91 I think.
Same here, might be my last day tomorrow. The most disappointing part is I just received my benefits enrolling forms today after finally becoming officially "full time" employee"

I wouldn't believe anything the Tier 1 says. I would ask to speak to Tier 2 and ask about your card since they're able to look into the actual process and status.

FYI, if anyone has issues being transferred to Tier 2 rep (as I did), I called back and told the Tier 1 rep I was originally getting transferred to a Tier 2 rep earlier but my phone died, so I was calling back. She did not hesitate and transferred me right away. Hope it helps

hmm that doesn't seem right, I work at a major university medical center and they gave me 30 days, then another 30 days... there's no legal risk to putting you on leave of absence, I have been on it since 9/4 and trust me, my medical center is top 10 in the nation and they take no legal risk. Maybe you can ask again? Either way, sorry to hear...

When is this voter registration deadline over with?
Voter registration deadline is postmarked 10/11. But, if people have not been scheduled for an interview yet, then they can't register that quickly. Ready for this to be over soon.

I did notice that applications have spiked in May.

Hi all,

I just registered today been following the blog for a few weeks now. This is so frustrating and painfully all at once. So many of us will be or already are out of jobs we worked so hard to get. USCIS seems indeferent to any request for more information and just ask that we wait it out. I will have to leave my job this Friday n gotta say I'm devastated, feel like no one really understands what it feels to not be in control of your own life. This really sucks. I do have an amazing boss, and he said he will take me back as soon as I can work again just know that I can't rely on that if my case drags on for too long past my expiration. ( sorry just had to vent to someone who I know understand what this feels like)

Just know you're not alone dude. I will expire on 11/09/16 and still have hope I will receive it in time. I know its all a matter of WHEN not IF I get approved, but the incompetence of USCIS is taking a drastic toll on peoples lives to the point of being homeless, no food, etc. This is unacceptable and I refuse to believe there is nothing we can do. There has to be some sort or repercussion for what they have done.
