Why do they have to wait until we expire !!!
Just did a walk in at a USCIS, basically was turned around. "They are working on them, nothing we can do at the moment. Setup an InfoPass and we can provide detailed information".

Hello everyone! I've been reading all your threads, and they have been very helpful. I would like to give my timeline and background on how this has been going for me. My case was received 6/15 Biometrics 7/16 EAD Exp 9/10. I still have not heard anything, I've called multiple times and finally got an answer Monday that my case was being reviewed by an officer. I'm hoping that's a good sign. I've been out of work for over a month now and driving around without a license isn't the bees knees. My sister has been approved her timeline is similar just that her Received was 6/8 I believe. Crossing my finger folks!!

Received 6/15
Biometrics 7/13
EAD EXP 9/10

My brother finally got his bio scheduled on 10/3 and the notice was up last night. It was scheduled on the 10/28 when he basically has the same timeline as mine. This is ridiculous! He is going to do a walk-in today and hopefully he succeeds.

Good Luck! They need to speed there stuff up. We have given them more than enough time and money to do their job.

For those of you having trouble with EAD
Yesterday I contacted my infopass officer and this is the response he got after he asked why my card wasn't being done producing and mailed

The case has only been in producing card for less than 3 business days. That is normal. It can take 3-7 business days to produce the card. It is dependent on the print center.

I was approved sep 28 and my card went into production sept 30
Also the response from my congressman was this

USCIS records indicate that Ms. XXx Form I-821D and I-765 were approved at the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) on September 30, 2016. The decision notice pertaining to the Form I-821D will be sent to the address of record in XXX. Additionally, data pertaining to your constituent’s approved Form I-765 was transmitted to another USCIS facility so that an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) may be produced. After it is produced, the EAD will be sent to the address of record. Your constituent should receive the EAD within the next 7-10 days from the date of this mail message.

If this is true I should be getting my card next week but then I don't know why they are taking so long on the ones being approved almost a month ago :/

My sister didn't even get an update on the website. She got a letter in the mail stating her I821 form has been approved and then a day later, her card went into production on the website. She expired 9/25 and HR has her on a leave of absence until she receives the card. I expire on 10/19. My boss hasn't said anything. I work for a small office. I called today and they told me I won't be able to do a service request until tomorrow when I hit 105 days. This has been really stressful for me.

You can't even depend on the website at this point. We might end up receiving a letter in the mail for approval. I'm on hold with USCIS at the moment.

That is ridiculous, this is the most mismanaged government agency I've seen so far...so now we can't depend on their website for updates? If that's the case might as well take the case tracker update off their website cause clearly its not usefull

Exactly. They want to make you suffer some more. For all we know, we could be approved right now and not even know it until you receive your letter. Lol this is insane to me. I don't trust the website for sure though.
