I've been thinking about the required selective service registration, which I have not done yet. I'm wondering if it is required for someone with DACA. I'm only asking because I have heard that registering for selective service is a requirement for future naturalization. Is that true and should I register ASAP?

You need it regardless. :/ And you'll have it done for you when you get your drivers license. The country doesn't need you now, but if there was a world war and nobody wanted to fight you bet they'd start drafting and they would draft us illegals too cause suddenly the nation wants us to come die for them.

Males 18-26 need to register. Aliens typically aren't required to register. But it'll look good when an immigration reform happens

Incorrect. "Almost all other male non-citizens are required to register, including undocumented immigrants, legal permanent residents, those seeking asylum, and refugees." (source).

any male between 18-26 must register regardless of status, race, religion, ect ect if you are a male here between the ages of 18-26 by law you must register. My friend didnt register when he realized it he was a week after his 26 birthday, he adjusted through his wife and they didn't make it difficult. I think you are barred from becoming a USA citizenship for like what 5 years? But when you think about it, isnt that how long you must wait once you get your green card? The only people who will ever care about any group that requires you to have registered. For example, your school Financial Aid policy, now the military isnt going to punished you for NOT registering but other groups will. And you can be denied financial aid if your state allows you to get it

I made sure to register, and have been advocating for war so we get drafted and I can get citizenship right before the nukes drop.

Yes, you must do it before the age of 26. I suggest you get this done asap. Its very simple. I believe you just get a card from the post office and fill it out and send it in.
