You pretty much role play with them. They ask you where you stand among new issues. It will also help a lot to be familiar with the country, its locals, and current events. The agent giving the test will know for sure if you are a native speaker or not, I am very fluent in mine but ofcourse after living here for 13 years I've stumbled on words here and there. I passed though.

I am serious about this one. I went through the OPT test and it was very extensive.

Even if it's true (which it's not), you can't jump on it because the program is closed. It may or may not open next year, if it does the hq has said it would be limited to smaller subset of languages only.
