Thanks for the response. It seems my employer does not want to accept DACA as any sort of work authorization proof. I also forwarded the email to them from USCIS stating my card went into production 10/4, but they are not accepting that either. I wish my card would just arrive already.. this process only gets more and more frustrating.

I just checked case tracker and said my card was being produced!
Now let's see how long it takes for me to actually get my card...
*sigh* the wait never ends.

Can someone tell me how to print off the DACA approval letter? I'm not sure if I have an ELIS account, I have an account in uscis.gov that has "my cases" which shows me the status of the cases but it doesn't show me that I can print something.

After getting trolled on by the USCIS Case Status page this week, I finally got approved this morning!!

Earlier this week I received emails and texts to check case status so I did. It showed that on Oct 13th I was scheduled for biometrics (AGAIN!) and on Oct 18th I was scheduled AGAIN! I called USCIS but like always they were unhelpful and told me to just wait. I emailed them through the contact us page on ELIS and received an email in 2 days saying how the inquiry was going to be forwarded to Nebraska and they also said that bios has already been done and I didn't need it even though case status update a few days ago said I did.

Anyways, this morning I get an email that I-765 got approved and card went into production! Both show accepted through ELIS. Now the most important question is:

Will my EAD show it starts on 10/19 (Date that case status shows I was approved) even if I receive it in a month or however long it takes to get it?? That way I can use my expired card and just tell my employer the new start and expiration dates and I can start working ASAP.

I want to ask everyone who has been approved and EAD delivered to also complete the "EAD received" column in the spreadsheet. We have tons of people approved but not many data points to accurately make an inference about EAD delivery time. Thank you

That is not the same as ELIS. What you have is just an account with uscis.gov to track your cases (I-821D/I-765) with the receipt number. For ELIS, you would have received your I-821D and I-765 Receipt, created an account with the information provided to you on the actual receipt. I never received any receipts for my submitted applications, only an email confirmation. Sadly, the account login information was not given to me.
