Hey guys!

Has anyone ever been denied AP? They denied me on Oct. 11, I applied to travel to Mexico to visit my wife's grandmother who has cancer. They first requested additional information because they said that the illness that she had was not an "emergent" condition.

So I got another letter from her doctor showing her age and also additional illnesses, I also got a letter from my Church and a Missions Trip that they were going to do to help Kids in Mexico, and stated in an additional letter that I was planning on doing both in two weeks. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough and I got denied.
On the Denial letter that I received it said that she didn't have an "emergent" condition and that the trip didn't qualify as one that was for "public benefit" therefore they had to deny me.

I was wondering if anyone has tried re applying (for another reason) even after getting denied?

I'm hoping someone will read and answer this question.

Is it possible to visit another country besides your country of origin while on advanced parole? I'm planning on going to Mexico, spending a week there and travel to Japan afterwards.

Has anybody done this?

That's really strange to see since they are usually liberal in giving out AP. Perhaps it was because it was your wife's grandmother and not yours? I don't know why they would deny you
