Not at first. Status tracker says card is in production but ELIS just says the application was accepted. After a couple of weeks when the status on the tracker goes from card in production to card produced, then ELIS is updated to approved for EAD.

don't worry if you missed it, it was useless. they said sorry we are working on it... basically.

When the status is like that does it mean the card has shipped?

Guys this is my update i was approved 10/5 and my card went in production 10/6 today i checked elis and it shows green card has been mailed ...for case tracker is showing case has been approved no email or text

2 updates from Facebook regarding EAD production. 2 people with dates 10/5 and 10/6 EAD in production received notification today either approved, or shipped. Hope there were more today that got new updates that weren't posted. I'm guessing that by the end of this week they will be working on the week of oct. 10th if there are on 10/5 and 10/6 and it's only Tuesday.

As for people that are still pending approval I wouldn't really believe that USCIS is now asking up to 6 months for approval because one T2 officer told me that same thing and it wasn't true and they were rude and didn't care from the start. Call twice a day one in the morning and one in the afternoon until you get someone helpful. If this is your second renewal and you haven't had any issues with the law that would show up on your biometrics then the generic answers they give you about your biometrics undergoing further investigation is just a way of them getting you off their backs so don't worry that much. Just keep pushing.

and now i got this letter for account access notice
and online it says 'Your benefit request has been accepted and is under review.' ? what does that mean?

It means your case is now in the queue to be processed and all you can really do is wait. Fingers crossed hoping you could be one of the lucky fast approved ones (in just a few days). Realistically it could be a few months.
