I got approved a week after I hit my 105 day and called them. I was super lucky to get a nice t1 rep that mentioned about putting a SR before I had to ask. Be polite and try to get a SR without asking for it so they don't deny it. Make sure they know when your permit expires so they can push the SR since they know you will expire.

I plan to follow up with ombudsman on the 105th day which is on 10/27 or should I submit a service request with USCIS first?

Any advise?

Hello This might sound like a silly question but what is "ombudsman"? My app was received on 07/19/16 and I completed my biometrics on 08/10, my EAD expires on 11/17. I have been trying not to worry but at this point I can't help it!

I am a July applicant as well. Is the 105 days since the day you submitted your application or the date they received it? I am guessing the date they received it but want to make sure since I will hit 105 days soon!

The date they receive the DACA application, you can check your status online. And it's 105 full days (not just business days).

It's the next step up you can do if submitting a service request did not work. You basically email your state ombudsman to have them follow up your case with USCIS on your behalf.

We have the same dates for renewal, my application was also received on 7/19 and had Bio appt. on 8/11. However my EAD just expired Monday 10/24. I believe you will get approved before your EAD expires but you might not get the actual card until after you expire since it's taking about 3 weeks after approval. I'm planning on taking atleast a month off due to this issue but I'm staying positive and taking it as a vacation since I work over 60 hours a week all year long. We should be approved anyday now but waiting for the card is the hassle.

I filed my renewal through a lawyer so they will do it for me on the 105th day which is on friday. But luckily I got approved today!

On October 25, 2016, we began producing your new card for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number IOE********. We will mail your card to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
