Yeah it was a huge mistake. That's what i get for trying to be transparent and keep everyone informed.

was in a similar situation. First step submitted an e-request via USCIS or 1-800 number and call it a coincidence but the following day my I-821 was approved. Then requested an infopass appointment. The USCIS office is not much of a help, but the officer was nice enough to make a copy of my I-821D approval and faxed it to NE office which produces or is in charge of the card production.

In my case I had to be honest with my employer due to the I-9 verification at work generates an alert as my employment validity comes close to expiration. FYI my employer gave me a 30 day unpaid leave to resolve my matter or they would let me go.....call it luck but i received my EAD on mail within 3 days. Further I did contact my local congressman which was very helpful in extending any help on this matter.

Hope it turns out well for you guys.

That song on your signature sucks. Sorry to hear about your stress though. How are you handling it? I myself have been so depressed lately that i don't even want to drink anymore. Might try weed.

Looks like the system is just massively delayed in general, or just not being updated correctly but everything behind the scenes seems to be running regardless.

*I call USCIS and talk to a tier 1 officer to look into why my card has not gone into production. The rep said "i see your card has not yet gone into production, I will open a case to have the team responsible start production on your card"

I'm sorry this has nothing to do with OPs question but I have to ask, how in the world did you get them to expedite your case? Every time I call they tell me there is nothing they can do. That's been with a tier 1 and 2 reps.

This does not mean it was expedited. Person didn't post the response they gave and I think they have an AoS application tied to their employment authorization.

Can you please clarify Supportthedream2012?

I just focus on my things and push all thoughts about the election out of my mind temporarily until it comes back and then stresses me again. That and my Alcoholism needs to be tended to.
