This thread helped me a ton when I was still waiting. You guys became like family motivating me and giving me hope. I know this time sucks especially when you're at home and can't work. But here is my timeline:


USCIS Received my doc: 6/21/16

Biometrics: 9/19/16

EAD & DACA Approved: 10/17/2016

EAD Delivered: 10/29/2016

EXPIRATION Date: 10/17/2016

I was without work a total of 7 days. These 7 days were very hard but stay busy and ENJOY it! This is out of our CONTROL, do the most you can do, but if there isn't anything else you can then take it as a vacation. Visit your family, organize your house, do things you normally can't do because of work. I know it's hard but just know know that'll come and pray as much as you can!

Very similar timeline as me, I was one of the few lucky ones that did get to work and then getting a bonus now that I am back into payroll. glad everything is over for most of us, and hope everyone else gets approved ASAP.

Lucky you! I was without work for 40 days, my case was pending for 5 months. ! My HR was extremely strict but I've been reinstated and Ill be returning to work on Monday.
Just got my card in the mail, there was no tracking number and the tier 2 officer I spoke to didn't see a tracking number when they investigated my case either. It took about 6 days for it t reach my hand.

Hang in there everyone! This will all be over soon! You'll just have to be patient and wait but your case will be taken care of.

Just printed out a copy of my DACA approval.

Still waiting.... I just hit 105 days yesterday and submitted the Ombudsman request today. The last thing I've heard from USCIS is that my case is "in line waiting to be reviewed by an officer". BLEH. I've been out of work for 17 days now, and it's been great, but I'm starting to burn through my savings.....

I hope this is all over for us soon!!

When you did your biometrics walk in how did you go about it? Did you have to give any form of proof/paperwork?

I received a notification text and email from ELIS this morning and I was finally approved as of yesterday.
I reached 105 days on Sunday and called USCIS on Wednesday (day 108 ) and they put in a service request. Approved the next day for a total of 109 days.
I continued working past the expiry date and was fortunate enough that HR didn't notice.

Received: 7/18/16
Biometrics: 8/8/16
Expired: 9/28/16
Approved: 11/3/16
EAD: tbd

I got a notification text and email that I got approved this morning! I was approved yesterday also. Hope they upload the notice soon and be back at work soon!

Received: 7/14/16
Bio: 9/2/16
Expired: 10/26/16
Approved: 11/3/16
EAD: Under production
