Keep renewing your DACAs and stay the course for now. Nothing really goes into effect until Janruary anyway. I would say the average scenario, or most likely, is they'll let DACA expire. My main concern is my EAD, as I see us very low on the list of deportation priority. They can't really invalidate our EADs since there are EADs for other status's persons aside from DACA, so there's really no way to differentiate. My plan B is to up my game and find a nice pretty girl and get hitched in a year. I have friends who married after 6 months, so it's possible. We still got a time limit of about 2 years to fulfill our plan Bs. The worse thing to do now is to wallow in pity and be depressed. Keep moving forward guys.

Pretty sure people would rather go back to their home countries than submit to this.

On another note, is there anything we can absolutely do right now before inauguration? My mom told me Bill pushed some last minute immigration legislation during his lame duck session before he left. Not entirely sure how accurate that is as I didn't have the time to really look that up at the moment. While Obama is still in office, we should really see what we can do as a group to get his attention in these 1.5 months.

Oh yea, going to have up my game like crazy, marriage seems more and more necessary every minute that goes by right now.

Just imagine...Trump being elected probably set the stage for no CIR or relief for an indefinite amount of time...and I am talking decades.

Yep, I've been single for too long anyway. I know it's in bad taste, but time to grab some by the pu$$y i guess...

Truth is I was super nervous before the election. Worrying what our lives are going to be. But now, seeing the final result, I'm actually at peace. Absolute clarity you may say. Our lives hasn't been easy and those who aren't in our roles may never experience the shit we're going through, and that's ok. I even saw ungrateful dreamers on this forum, got their green card through marriage and asked us to give up. But so what? I know I'm not backing down without a good fight. life is a battlefield. We have it hard, but there are always people worse off. And we will never know what happen, shit, Obama might even grant immigration amnesty, or meteorite struck America next week and all this argument would be useless.

I'm just glad that we have this forum to remind each other that we aren't alone. And yes, Kikibay is back. Brace yourself.
I do take comfort in knowing my close friends are just as freaked out as I am and she did win the popular vote by a few hundred thousand (as of now).

I'll continue living my life as usual, and if I have to leave then good riddance to the country that not only elected this man, but had him win in a landslide victory despite having a minority of the vote.

Unless you are the breadwinner or your fiance has a medical condition requiring your care, unfortunately, you will not be able to apply for a Visa without triggering and waiving the 10-year ban, and, thus, you will not have a path to citizenship. My husband and I have been married 5 years now and had to apply for Advanced Parole for him to leave the US to Mexico and come back with permission/inspection which he will be doing in the next couple weeks (as soon as he gets his driver's license in the mail). There are forums here talking about Advanced Parole and Adjustment of Status, so I would suggest researching this option once you are married and if you have any family in your birth country. Good luck.
