Okay I have cried like 3 times today when learning that Trump has won and that his views towards DACA is to end it. I moved to Seattle and live on my own...no family or friends near me to talk to. I am 21, I was promoted at my current job and was sooo happy living my life...now I don't know what to do. And I am writing this because I stopped laying on my bed hopeless, I have realized, even before the DACA, I had dreams and belief in myself. Even when I was illegal, I knew I had a bright future, not because I was in the states, but because I am me and I believed in myself to keep on going even if odds are against me, and to never give up. I want all of you DREAMERS to never forget that because we fought the waves that was against us from day one, we will never give up on our futures, if we fall we will find a way to stand up again.

Thank you for sharing, your words have enlightened my mood a bit. I decided to write about my feelings because I know it brings me tranquility and hope knowing that many people are faithful. I think we can all attest that we feel the exact same way as you. I am devastated by the election results and the uncertain future for us undocumented immigrants. A couple weeks ago, I accepted a job offer from a great company for 6 months, it is set to start next year. Now I do not know if I will have that opportunity. I can't describe my disappointment. I am set to graduate soon with my B.S. I did nothing today and I am afraid of the coming months. I am afraid to go into a depression in all honesty. I am trying to find hope and stay positive, but it is so hard.

It's so true , I didn't hit me until I got up in the morning and I was at work. Some people at my work voted for Trump, while other didnt. But they all spoke about it like it was a tv show. I hated there was no one I could talk to at work . To them it's a tv show , to us, it's our lives at stale. We have been given hope and struck down when the dream act was close on going through. Now it's the same as daca, we have gone through this already with the dream act, we can get through this too

Most Americans are okay with illegal aliens and believe they should be offered a path into status. If we go by polls/surveys and we all know how reliable those are. But if trump actually began deporting people would Americans care to stop it ? They didn't when Obama was and I doubt they will With trump
