It looks like we have to be skilled workers or college grads for the Canadian system, right?

Looks like some of us may qualify for express entry to Canada under the federal skilled worker program ?
According to the website, these are the selection factors:
  • your skills in English and/or French (Canada’s two official languages),
  • your education,
  • your work experience,
  • your age,
  • whether you have a valid job offer, and
  • your adaptability

Apparently express entry gets processed "... in six months or less in 80% of cases."

Hi Guys,

Sorry, I should've explained a bit more about this initiative. I reached out to my alma mater, Cornell University, and my current employer, Accenture LLC, to help with this outreach initiative in the wake of upcoming Republican administration. They both have agreed to officially endorse the letter to Prime Minister of Canada. This is good news because between both parties - we are talking about endorsement from almost half a million souls!

Either tomorrow or on Monday - Nov 14 (Depends on when I revisit Cornell), I will bring back brochures and upload it here. This will shed some more light on this initiative with contact information in case you have any questions.

Briefly, as stated in original message, the idea is to put this issue on Prime Minister's radar and gently urge him to provide a solution, either by modifying the current Skilled Worker Point System or opening up a new refugee channel just for Dreamers, in case DACA is rescinded.

Give me couple of days, I will upload more information - maybe some of you New Yorkers will be able to join the next meeting in person!
