Since Democrats will have less influence in the next 2-4 years, maybe even 8. Shouldn't DACA recipients follow Republicans?

I expect there will be some sort of mercy at their hands, and people have to bow to them. Sarcasm aside, why does it seem like people/minorities are against most Republican ideals when the only reason people have to worry about (that will probably impact them) is their plan on immigration.

If this is the case, shouldn't DACA recipients be more lenient towards Republicans? All I see is fighting them. On one occasion, I heard a conservatives say that Dems wanted citizenship so they could get that 1.1 million immigrant votes. Which is a bit insane.

I think DACA needs a good strong narrative. It should at least cater to a sound minded Republican politician. Even Trump liked the idea many years ago, but his main website still lists DACA recipients as a must go.

Shouldn't you be listening to Republicans? They own the house

There is nothing we can do but wait and see what they're going to do. So, I agree. We need to listen and stop panicking... At least for now.

Oh, I am definitely all ears.

They are the ones in power after all, and we need to have constructive communication.

I am anxiously curious what next year will bring, and I am already analyzing the political landscape daily...and will continue to throughout these possible tumultuous years.

Would we have much of a choice, if the other option is be deported?

Depends really, will have to explore the options if there is any...and each of us will have to figure out what is best for our individual situation.
