I know we're all in fear right now, due to what Trump stated in his campaign towards Daca being terminated.
Please keep in mind that nothing has occurred so far, so we must stay the course, strategize, save, and stay calm.
For the most part history repeats itself, and he may end up being another Reagan..
If Secretary Hillary won, she would have had an uphill battle - with the other two branches under Republican control - in regards towards fast pacing any immigration reform. Resulting in 4 more years lost.
Remember Trump mostly answers to no one. Even though we're re not citizens on paper, I believe all us dreamers are Americans first at heart, so we must accept the transfer of power and let things be for now.
Don't forget he already has switched stance on 'Obamacare' (which he was supposed to repeal and replace) showing signs of what's to come.
Additionally and most importantly MELANIA!! She's an immigrant, that much like some of us or our Parents, came here under a Visitor's Visa. Perhaps we can reach out to her in someway with the hopes she gets some sort of message. She does have the president elect's ear.
Regardless when Daca comes up, we'll hear about it.
The best thing we all can do is to be exemplary civilians, start businesses, continue our education, keep working, take out crazy loans, and stay out of trouble. Please stay out of trouble! It would only take a few bad apples to make us all look bad - or have it repealed.
The Republican party is not only trying to rebrand itself, but reorganize and shift to gain more minorities, so keeping Daca would help them look better in the public's eye.
Last shed of light - Our Monetary / Financial power!!! Believe it or not this is one is a biggie, a lot of dreamers have lines of credit open, loans, we pay taxes, some of us even employ people. Imagine having the right to legally work taken away... that would hurt many financial institutions badly! "Um yes credit card company I won't be paying my debt because I'm legally not allowed to work anymore, best of luck now"
I believe that if things become truly dire, perhaps a majority of us can unite and try to accomplish something positively. Until then, enjoy the little perks and freedoms we currently have due to Daca, spread the message, get involved politically some way, volunteer, and keep your head up.... we made it this far, I believe we can keep going farther
