Do companies followup on work permit near expiration? - Page 2

Mine told me 1 month before it expired if I was in the process of renewing, unfortunately I was terminated because I wasn't approved on time.

Some companies really keep up with it and are very strict

I've had a lot of jobs. The smaller companies and businesses never ask for it. Bigger ones always ask sometimes months before expiration, they send you letters and HR contacts you about it.

I hope my DACA gets renewed on time. My DACA expires in February 2017. I sent the renewal right on the 150 day mark. I am not sure if my company uses e verify but I wouldn't be surprised if they do. This is a fortune 100 company. Hope everything goes well. I don't want to lose my job. I just got promoted a month ago. It would suck to lose this job. I have good benefits and a good salary.

Depends. It's their responsibility. Most will. Mine did one month before expiration.

I have a question to add to this, if Trump does remove DACA and then revokes valid EAD's, does anyone know if E-verify will check for the validity of the EAD even though it will say that its not expired on the card?

I think they will check for the category number C33. I believe yes.

When you say never ask for it, do you mean never ask to see if you have a renewed work permit? Were you working on a conract or an "at-will" employment (with no end date). Do you know if they participated in E-Verify? You can check them here https://www.uscis.gov/e-verify/about...rs-search-tool

Were any of the companies that never followup in E-Verify?

Yes I was almost suspended last year because my EAD was going to expire. It arrived a day before I was to get suspended.
