Predictions on what will happen

Hey guys,
As you all know, we face uncertainty in the coming months/years. I think it'd be good and maybe even fun to see what everybody's predictions as to what is going to happen to us in the future. I'll start it off.

The first day after the election was definitely a tough one. I had no hope, thinking we will be striped of our work permits and maybe even deported. Since then I have rationalized and I think this is what will happen. Trump, as much as a bigot he has been on the campaign trail, I believe is a rational human being and businessman. He in the past has stated he would run Republican because they would believe all of his lies etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzisNhRldmg I think he used this strategy and it obviously paid off.

Now that he is in office, I believe he will be much tamer and rational. He has stated in the past that he wants dreamers around. See- https://www.buzzfeed.com/adriancarra...amers-and-said . So with this evidence I believe he will cut off DACA to any new applicants but will let people that already have it continue to apply. He knows that revoking our EADs will cause a humongous uproar and most people sympathize with us as seen through the exit polls.

He will then try to pass an immigration bill that will have a 5k+ fine for every noncriminal undocumented person to pay and will legalize all of us while making us pay for the wall. If he does this, he will win the Latino vote for Republicans and I could see him really being a 2 term president because of this, especially if he gets the healthcare insurance premiums down, which is why most people voted for him.

Most Americans really don't give a shit what happens to us and I think thats a good thing, as helping us won't negate any of the other white vote, especially if he does deport all the criminals. Those are just my thoughts, sorry for rambling.

Trump will legalize us. Get with the #terrificPeople crowd.

He could indeed get a lot of money out of us, though.

I am willing to lay out everything i have for legalization tbh...

My predictions:

* Keep DACA for those who already have it. No more new applicants thus ending it in one way but not in the way we expected.

* Revise DACA to include only those with college degrees and/or pursuing college degrees.

* Have to have 100% clean records.

* An increase in USCIS fees.

* Will secure border and hire more agents.

* No refugees from Syria.

* Continuation of deporting criminal immigrants.

* hike up the renewal fee and make us pay for the wall

At best I think this is all we can hope for lol.

Yeah I think the best thing to do now is to not let people forget about us. Most people have a favorable or at worst neutral opinion of us. But we could easily fade into the background then it won't matter what they think of us.
