I really do believe ICE agents will go after DACA beneficiaries to meet their deportation quota.

Trump promised he would deport 3 million, and that's 750K per year or more than twice the current level.

The easiest way to meet this quota is to go after Dreamers whom they have all needed personal information and are easy to track down, and many Dreamers will be forced to go underground to evade deportation.

He is very unpredictable. Some people here have very high hopes and I would honestly recommend to tone it down a bit. Happiness = Reality - Expectations.

I do hope he goes a bit further than DACA so I can finally visit my family after 15+ years but I'm not expecting that from him.

No, he didn't promise to deport 3 million.

What he said was that there are 2 million criminal aliens in the US, maybe 3 million. The 3 million was just an exxageration on his part. He is going off of the 1.9 million number that was put out by ICE a few years back.

Currently, only 60% of deportees are criminal convicts; the rest are deportees who returned, whose who disobeyed the deportation order, etc.

I assure you, ICE agents on the field do not care if the undocumented immigrant that they arrested is a violent criminal or not; they are all the same to ICE agents.
