This. A Pardon is the one thing Obama can do before he leaves office. It would open up a lot of doors for dreamers.

I'm also against the pardon idea. I don't want Trump's ire to be directed towards us.

Unfortunately, he didn't get to see deffered action take place. There is also another old story about a guy that was in removal procedings, and he was scared. The thought of going to another country terrified him. He committed suicide. I feel like there should be more publicity on these impacts. Another article here stated that emergency counseling was administered at colleges or schools. Some of us dreamers are shaken by this threat. http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/1119100 Here is the url for Joaquins story from 2011. I'm typing from my cellphone so it's hard. Sorry for grammar etc.
Yeah we need to keep each other strong this guy lived about an hour away from me. I didn't know him. But I wish I did. 2011 we were probably the same age. We are better than all this hate. And is hard but we are tougher. Sending you guys love.

I have a question. I have seen people talk about how a pardon could open up the possibility of sponsorship by an employer because it would eliminate accrued unlawful presence. I've also read that you don't start accruing illegal presence until you're 18.

Back in 2012 when I was approved for DACA, I was 17. Does that mean that I can get sponsored by an employer now? Is it true that Ihaven't accrued illegal presence?

If you were 17 when you got it you have no illegal precense. The hard part is finding a job willing to help you and them proving you are the only qualified one for the job
