Hello,

I know many have prepared their packets on their own. However there are also plenty of us who have payed to have someone prepare it for us. I was hoping to share and get some feed back as to how much you guys payed to have someone prepare your DACA packet. This does not include the standard $465 filing fee.

As for me I payed $300 for the initial filing and the renewals that followed.

What about you guys?

Read OPs question again... I meant $130 to have someone help me with my application, not the application fee itself.

A college student helped me when I was a freshman
I was do thankful he did because everyone was getting a lawyer left and right. I had come from a broken family, and my mom wasn't going to do that. With the guys help I was able to figure it out from there, and mail it out. Then my brother took time to do his initial application because he wanted a lawyer. He finally caved in and I did it for him for free of course. Then I also did a teenage girls application. She was a Visa overstay so I paid close attention to detail. I didn't charge her a dime. It feels good to help. Especially knowing you stopped them from going to a lawyer. I met a lady that is a notary, but she does all sorts of immigration applications in her office. I go to her when I need to translate a certificate to English. I know I can do it myself but I am too lazy. So I pay her 15 dollars. She does do DACA for 100 or 150. I think she should be more helpful to the kids that come to her for guidance. She shouldn't be after the money. After all notary immigration help is illegal.

Almost $3k the first time and this renewal $0. I didn't have a straightforward case so I had to pay for the attorney. In any other situation I would've done it at a free clinic or on my own.
