I had forseen the possibility of Trump winning.

I couldn't take more of. I quit my job. My family doesn't seem to understand what's going on, and why i'm flipping out, they call me impatient. I'm tired of seeing all of my friends go through life and experiencing things I can never experience. I'm 24 and I feel like i'm going batshit insane. I don't know what to do guys. I've lost my mind.

Why would you quit your job? You still had at least a month or two left before he would take over and even then, you probably had longer. Self destructive behavior at this point won't be helpful

I'm tired of working for measly wages. I'm tired of not being valued having zero leverage to use(such as college degree) for a better wage or job. I'm tired of life.

You must find your purpose in life. We all have one! Once you find it you will see what I'm talking about, the trick is to never give up, that's not an option so keep it up.

I agree with the above posts.

I know it is hard, but please do not despair, no one knows what is going to happen yet. Try to get another job asap, we need money to survive.

Seek help, I am sure you have friends or family that can understand what you are going through.

You have to be strong. Don't fall for what people are saying. Fear is a tactic used by many to control you. Don't give up. Trump will not deport us. Go and get your job back. Be hopeful and don't ever say I give up.

Have the power to keep trying. Get another job that will hire right away. Who cares how crappy it is. Stay in survival mode save up the money. Stay prepared. I feel where you are coming from. I even feel like you do. But I still picked up a measly paying job after I got fired to help me while I get back to my other job (still measly, but better by 3 or 4 dollars) with benefits. The point is to take care of yourself. Even pick up a part time job so you can get your shifts done and worry about what matters. Don't be discouraged. I completely know how you are feeling. I have even had a public breakdown at work. This whole daca/ trump/ renewal /delay/ repeal issue takes its toll. Please try to go back to work. Build a resume get a nice higher paying job by a few dollars at least.

Look at some of the dreamers left out of DACA, I have no sympathy for people who failed miserably to benefit and improve their lives using this gift.

He has a point though. Nothing bad has happened yet. Basically, he quit his job for no good reason
