Honest question, what facts are there that he will end DACA and deport us? If you call him a liar and he flip flops on everything.

#5. Also, most recently in the Time article:
Quote:
As for the people who were brought to the U.S. illegally as youths and now have work visas under Obama, Trump did not back off his pledge to end Obama’s executive orders.
But sure. Yeah he won't end it.

But he is a liar and he flip flops.

Yeah that doesnt count towards that right, nor recent events of him being soft on immigration.

Good observation.

Because of the bill passes and is signed by Obama, congress would have to be the one to issue a new bill to dismantle the program. Why would congress pass something and overturn it when trump enters office.

Many of you seem to not know how the government works. This is just the senate version, the house lead by Paul Ryan would have to come up with their own version of this. That other version could possibly involve a path to LPR. Trump is going to ask for something in return too. Be patient, this is just step 1 of 4 if everything works out. I would be thankful for this. I'm a beggar so I cannot be a chooser. You are acting all entitled.

Gotcha, that makes sense. I was scared that this will end everything Trump and Ryan had planned for us.

We will be used as leverage by democrats and moderate republicans to pass a strong border security bill. Trump wants his wall, so do hard-liners. Moderate republicans want to preserve our status quo and not generate bad PR. Democrats will try to push for the most sensible and beneficial program for us.

I don't see why a lot of you dislike the "BRIDGE act" idea. We must not forget that regardless of what anyone says, President Elect or House speaker, del plato a la boca se cae la sopa.

We must be grateful to anyone who is showing support for us and be happy that they are trying to ensure our safety within the new government.

Seems to me as well that we can't let ourselves be filled with negativity, for if this feelings are amongst us, what can be expected of others.

IMO
