yea, i make over 40K as a Project Manager for a language company.

except for jobs that require you to be a USC or a green card holder for X reasons, your DACA status should not hold you back. IME, employers do not care too much about it, unless they note that it expires in 2 years, so to speak; here, their risk would be losing you in 2 years. but i doubt that is often the case.

i think the main reason why some many not earn as much is because maybe before DACA, they could not work legally and thus may not have adequate experience, either because they did not work or did not work legally.

after about a year or two of experience, you should be able to step out of base pay, i think, especially if you have a degree and are good at what you do.

Just hit $80k for my second year in IT Distribution sales. Just a high school degree. Sales comes easy for me, so I got that going. Really need to at least get an associate, feel like I am getting too comfortable and I will probably hit a wall when I apply for a sales regional manager spot.

$80k with only HS is very good. I'm also in sales $75-80k plus car so about the same.

Highly recommend getting a degree. If you get laid off it will be hard for you to find a job (it is not going to be impossible) because most companies require a minimum of a degree.

Congrats! What state? I passed FAR (last one) one couple weeks ago (started taking the darn exams back in 2012). Will be licensed by March tops.
