Yep.

I do not think they will cash in your check.

You know what? Don't send in a money order. Send in a check.

hm.. interesting. Mine doesn't expire until December 2017. Do you guys think I have chance if I send it in within next 2 weeks? Any opinion is appreciated!

Hmm I would probably go for it if I was in your position. Especially if you can afford to lose your money. But from what everyone is saying, that won't be the case. You have so much to gain and so little to lose if you did it extra early.

That's just my opinion. Lol

Honestly I believe it is too early for renewal, but if you can afford to lose (worst case scenario) the application fee then it can't hurt.

I usually average 5-6 months, includes original and 1st renewal. I expire April 2017.

2nd Renewal, they accepted my package 11/23. I got snail mail today saying 821D approved. Exactly 1 month!

Hoping that the 765 follows! Extended to 2019 (2 years).

Edit:

Ok so I logged into to my USCIS Account and now its showing this for my 765
"On April 2017, we approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number XXX. We will mail your approval notice. "

I am hoping the April X, 2017 is just an error. Because when i check my 821D it says December 20, 2016 approval.

Why would you hope April expiration is an error? That means your new card would run April 2017-19. It's a really really good thing!

My brothers expires in June 2017. Think I'm gonna send it now for him. Just about 6 months, should be ok. Will take the chance.
