Sounds reasonable for all those years we accrued illegal presence. Plus it generates money. Lets say 5 million people apply. 20K X 1M...do the math.

this should pass. ill give it a 65% chance, they have to atleast bring it to the floor.

194 democrats and just find 20 or so moderate republicans. not sure if they can muster up 60 in the senate though.

I am not sure this will come down to the floor of the house.

We have a republican majority. The Paul Ryan promised that the Haster rule will be implemented.

Only bills with the Majority of the Majority will make it. There is no fucking way in hell that a bill like the bridge act will come down to the floor.

Trump will have to be supportive of a similar measure, so that it can be amended. He will have to Tweet congress to move it through. I do not see it moving otherwise.

well SPR did signal he supports our cause and he deferred to the house committee to deal with this. so im just optimistic about it. just doesnt make sense to pull the rug under us but hey they are pulling the rug under 20 million with the Affordable Care Act soooooo fuck me right? lol

It would come down to a vote in the senate because we have a handful of republicans there, but the house, it is just not realistic. Most of the people in the house will not support a measure that benefits people here illegally. They will only bring down measures that focus on securing the border and deporting illegals.

I really hope this passes. Eventually, they are going to want more money for their stupid wall, extra ICE officers, and immigration judges. They can attach this to any request for enforcement money and it should pass. It would be in their best interest to just pass it on it's own though, to make our issue disappear from the public for a bit while they gut Obamacare.

This is the full text. https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-...bill/3542/text

Correct me if I'm wrong people with better reading comprehension than me, but it looks like this bill only applies to those who already were in DACA and doesn't include new applicants. Is that right?
