Ok guys I applied for advance parole back in September uscis got my paper work nov 9th till this day my case status has not changed... so I made an infopass appointment with my filed office in Dallas today, I told them my situation and that my grandmother is getting worse and that I wanted to apply for emergency advance parole. The lady took all my documents doc letter birth certificates both recipients for when I applied for Daca and advance parole. She took them back talked to her supervisor came back and said I was approved I didn't have to pay for the application again thank god... so it took her about 40 mins to do the paper work and give me my ap paper... overall the lady was very nice and helpful.

For how much was your check or money order? I'm sending my packet tomorrow and the website says the filing fee is $575.... I don't know if that is correct or not.

Thanks. I plan on traveling on May for a study abroad program if everything remains the same. When should I file for this? Is right now a bit early or no?

I would say if everything remains the same and trump doesn't cancel daca then I would go ahead and apply asap it takes in most cases 3 months to get approved.. but of course wait till after the 20th of Jan to see what happens.
